This small, dated kitchen was transformed to a modern, convenient kitchen by removing an existing wall and renovating the entire space.  The main objective of this project was to give the owners a larger kitchen that they could use on a daily basis.  We removed a wall and expanded the kitchen to give them the desperate space then needed.  We also created an additional eating area by removing part of an existing wall and installing a granite top.  The cabinets are maple with a cherry finish along with granite countertops and back splash.  The stainless steel appliances and tile flooring with stain resistant grout gave this tired kitchen the revitalized look the owners desired.

Do you live in an old farmhouse?  If so, look what you can do with your kitchen!  We renovated this kitchen in an old farmhouse that dates back over 100 years.  As you can imagine this created some challenges.  An existing staircase extended out into the kitchen which resulted in an area with no useable space.  We framed up a wall to hide this staircase and designed cabinets so that this space could be used for storage.  Cabinets are maple with a cherry finish.  The countertops and backsplash are Staron Solid Surface in Pebble Gold.  New tile flooring and stainless steel appliances completed this old farmhouse kitchen renovation into a modern, updated space that can be used for morning coffee or entertaining the neighbors and friends.

Tim and Cathy had just purchased this home in Salem.  It was a great investment, but needed some major updating.  The kitchen was the first place that received the sledge hammer.  The kitchen and dining room were separated by a weight bearing wall.  But the wall needed to be removed to open up the area to give them more room and make the area more functional.  We removed the wall and installed a beam to support the weight of the upper floor.  We reworked the electrical and added under cabinet lighting along with installing a new vent for the gas stove.  We also added plumbing for the new island sink and relocated dishwasher.  We framed up an existing window and installed a new window so that cabinets could be installed under that window.  The cabinets are quarter sawn oak and the large island has cabinets with glass door fronts for display, a pull out trash can, also drawers and doors for storage.  The granite counter tops and tile backsplash top off this gorgeous kitchen.
