The pictures speak for themselves.  The Rodgers had a great basement for storage, but not for much else.  We turned this storage area into a show place that can be used as a man cave, kids retreat, or in-law quarters.  The area boasts a huge entertaining area with a flat screen TV above the gas log fireplace, a spacious bathroom, a full size bedroom that meets egress requirement, and an eat-in kitchen with full size stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher.  Tile was installed above the tub area and on the floor of the bathroom.  Engineered wood flooring was installed throughout the rest of the living area.  The staircase was completely redone with stained stair treads and new handrails and balusters.  This area now not only will give the Rodgers many years of enjoyment, but will also give them the added investment of living space if they decide to someday sell their home.  Please read the Rodger’s testimonial.

If the name sounds familiar, it is.  We also remodeled two bathrooms for the Bass’s that can be seen in our bathroom remodeling section.  The existing basement was finished, but as you can see by the pictures it was really outdated.  The wood paneling, dim lighting, and carpet gave it more of a dungeon feel than of a space that you wanted to relax in.  We removed the paneling, lights, and carpet and replaced them with plastered walls, can lights, and tile flooring.  The existing sliding door was replaced with a more energy efficient and better operating sliding door.  Mr. Bass enjoys playing music in a local band and wanted to display his collection of guitars.  We installed the display area for his guitars, which is now the focal point of the new remodel.
